Raising funds to support the community
Since 1994, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Moses Lake (HFHGML) has built 15 homes for community members. In 2023, the organization started the A Brush With Kindness program to help seniors, veterans, and low-income families complete needed home repairs. However, as the cost of labor and materials increases, it becomes more challenging for the organization to support the community. We ask the community to support our efforts by donating. Your donation stays in the community because we stand by the statement, "Community Supporting Community."
It has been proven that homeownership can help build wealth. Habitat for Humanity's vision statement is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. A decent place to live allows an individual, a single parent, or a family to have stability, which in turn allows for success in other areas of life.
